Individual Lessons in Piano and Voice
(weekly)
I offer one-on-one learning in a home setting. Individualized lessons for each student are essential for tapping into their specific potential! I strive to get to know each student's learning style, both their strengths and their weaknesses. This is the thrill of teaching!
Group lessons
(4 times a year)
Four times a year, I get my students together in small groups for a different style of learning. This is more interactive with others and reinforces music concepts in an alternative method. We play games, have learning activities, brainstorm, listen to music, and perform for each other. Sometimes we even have snacks!
This is a great way to put a different spin on the same old thing :) It is also a way for students to get to know each other, so that recitals and festivals are less intimidating for them.
Theory
Theory is generally covered within the individual lessons, however, I do offer separate theory classes when there is a demand for it. These would be especially geared towards preparing for a Royal Conservatory Examination.
